BOE seeks appointments to
the Family Life Advisory Committee
The Board of Education of Frederick County (BOE) is seeking representatives to serve on its Family Life Advisory Committee from each of the following areas:
2 FCPS professional educators
2 interested Frederick County citizens 1 parent from the Middletown High feeder area * 1 parent from the Urbana High feeder area * 1 parent from the Walkersville High feeder area * The committee examines all instructional materials proposed for use in the Family Life and HIV/AIDS-prevention units and makes recommendations for consideration by the Board of Education. It also consults with the educators charged with developing, implementing and evaluating the program.
