Nymeo, one of Frederick County Public Schools’ business partners, presented a check to Superintendent Terry Alban to cover school supplies for students whose families cannot provide them. Then during Nymeo’s “Random Acts of Kindness Week,” the organization presented a check to Monocacy Elementary Principal Troy Barnes to fund overages on student lunch accounts. And Nymeo held a surprise luncheon at the FCPS Central Office for the school system’s 18 community liaisons.
“The culture of Nymeo,” says Senior Business Development Representative Kathy Norris, “is people helping people. Reaching out to the community and building bridges gives us a sense of purpose.”
“Community liaisons work tirelessly to support our students and families,” says FCPS Family and Community Involvement Teacher Specialist Donna Quatman-Wilder. “It was so nice for them to be the recipients of Nymeo’s recognition. This honor was greatly appreciated.”
“Nymeo is an outstanding partner to FCPS,” says Business Partnership Coordinator Mindy Bankey. “We are truly grateful for the many ways they support our students and staff.”
Principal Barnes extended a big thank you for Nymeo’s generosity on social media forums.
