Frederick County Virtual School

The Frederick County Virtual School (FCVS) offers multiple ways for high school age students to earn credits toward a Maryland high school diploma. Online courses in 6 different programs are designed to meet student needs, and supplement schedules offered at all comprehensive high schools. Face-to-face sessions are a requirement of the learning process, occur within a set schedule, and are facilitated by highly qualified teachers. Students take one course at a time. Registration occurs through the school counselor.

Flexible Evening High School (FEHS) is one of the programs offered by FCVS. Most, but not all, of the students are enrolled exclusively with FEHS and take one course at a time. Students meet with a highly qualified teacher twice a week for instruction. The course content is computer-based and self-paced with "24/7" access. Registration occurs through the school counselor.
