Parents & Community Parent, family and community involvement go hand-in-hand with student success. Frederick County Public Schools welcome and encourage your interest, support and participation in school life. We encourage family members and other citizens to volunteer at a local school. An excellent avenue for becoming involved is to join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Business partners play a special role in schools. They host student interns, celebrate school staff, share resources, encourage employees to volunteer and offer incentives that promote student achievement. Call your local school to learn how you or your business can promote student achievement. School addresses, phone numbers and profiles are all online for your convenience.
