What is an Individualized Education Program (IEP)?

image The IEP is a written description of the special education and related services needed by the student. Considering the student's educational strengths and needs, the program outlines accommodations and modifications to enable the student to participate in an educational program, specific goals and objectives to enable the student to be successful in school, and services required by the student to meet the goals and objectives of the IEP.
