What is LYNX?
LYNX stands for Linking Youth to New Experiences. The program centers on creating highly individualized plans for student success, maximum student choice, and flexibility in setting and meeting academic and career goals.

Why should I partner with LYNX?
By partnering with the LYNX program, you are directly influencing and fostering your future workforce. The experiences provided in LYNX will give students at Frederick High School the exposure and skills needed for college and career readiness.

When is LYNX taking place?
The LYNX program will begin in September 2017 with the Frederick High School freshmen class.

Who is involved with the LYNX program?
LYNX is a partnership between FCPS and community partners. LYNX will phase in with rising 9th graders at Frederick High School beginning in the fall of 2017. There is no application process for students involved in LYNX. The program is currently only available for students attending Frederick High School.

Where is the LYNX program being run?
The LYNX program is beginning at Frederick High School with possible expansion to other high schools in Frederick and other counties in Maryland in the future.
