Do you want to become a teacher, but are not sure how? Are you interested in teaching for Frederick County Public Schools?  Check out this virtual event!

Join our FCPS staff and our college partners at as we share information about becoming a Maryland certificated teacher. You will not want to miss this event that is tailored to providing information to current students and adults, including career changers!

Why Attend?

We have planned this event so you can learn about the different pathways to obtain your Maryland teaching certification. Current FCPS students will have the opportunity to visit with the Teacher Academy of Maryland high school program at the Career and Technology Center. Additionally, colleges that offer teaching programs and courses will be present.  Learn what program works FOR YOU. Our hiring staff will be in attendance to provide information about teaching for Frederick County Public Schools. Don’t miss this great opportunity.

We will begin with a presentation about Maryland Teacher Certification, then time will be provided to visit with our different college partners. These include:

  • University of Phoenix
  • Walden University
