Project Name: Middletown Elementary / Middle Co-Located School
Location: 300/310 East Green Street Middletown, MD 21769
Project Goal: The new MEMS Co-Located School will be energy efficient buildings that meets, at a minimum, the USGBC LEED Silver design requirements. However, the building are not scheduled to be certified with the USGBC. All current local building codes of the authorities having jurisdiction as well as the FCPS Educational Program Specifications shall be met and adhered to as well. The new MEMS School design is to be performed in accordance with the State of Maryland IAC / PSCP guidelines and DGS requirements.
Current Status: Design - Complete/Construction starting November 1, 2025
Overall Progress: 5% Complete

- Received Grading and Building Permit
- ECS Pre-Construction Meeting October 27, 2025
- Construction site work activities (SW underground piping and connections) are underway and ongoing
Estimated Completion Date: Substantial Completion - August 2027
