Frederick County Public Schools announces the names of the six winners in the 2020 Support Employees of the Year program for outstanding achievement in their categories.
They are Laryssa Callan, School-Based Secretary of the Year, from Crestwood Middle School; Project Manager Randall Connatser, Central Office Maintenance Support Employee of the Year; Anita Happel, School Bus Driver of the Year; Debbie Langowski, School-Based Special Education Instructional Assistant of the Year, from Rock Creek School; Alice McReynolds, School-Based Custodian of the Year, from Monocacy Elementary; and Jennifer Morita, Central Office Secretary of the Year, from the Transportation Department.
From this group of six, one school-based and one central office Support Employee of the Year will be announced at a future Board of Education meeting when the group is honored. The two overall winners will each receive a cash award, a personal day off, special trophy and Board of Education pin. All category winners will receive trophies and certificates.
