Community Agency School Services (CASS)

A program of the FCPS Student Services Department, Community Agency School Services (CASS) promotes student success by supporting middle and high school students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges to connect with needed services.  Licensed certified social workers provide consultation to FCPS staff working with students at all grade levels, and specifically support secondary students and their families with resource connections, case management, and coordination of school-based community mental health partnerships.  CASS Coordinators work collaboratively with families, schools, and community agencies to address students’ needs.  Parents/caregivers wishing to connect with CASS may email the CASS Coordinator supporting students in the feeder patterns shown.

CASS coordinators facilitate collaboration between schools, agencies, communities and families. The goal is to improve communication and enhance access to services that support Frederick County children and their families.

Parents of middle school students wishing to connect with CASS may reach the CASS coordinator at the number listed for their school.
