UPDATE: Schools remain on a 2-hour delay Friday, March 1. This replaces the 2-hour early dismissal originally planned for a teacher work session. Schools will dismiss students at their normal time today.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 1 FCPS was scheduled to dismiss students 2 hours early for a teacher work session.
In light of the inclement weather forecast for tomorrow morning, we are replacing the early dismissal with a 2-hour delayed opening. We will dismiss students at their normal time tomorrow.
Teachers will have the option to work from home for that 2 hours in the morning. In other words, we're replacing the originally scheduled afternoon teacher work session with a morning work session.
If any additional weather-related announcements are needed, we will announce them by 7 AM tomorrow.
As on other days when there is a 2-hour delay:
- Breakfast is served.
- Morning PreK and Career and Technology Center (CTC) start 2 hours late and dismiss 1 hour later than usual.
- PM PreK starts 1 hour later than usual and dismisses at the regular time. PM CTC starts 40 minutes later than usual and dismisses at the regular time.
