Priority 10: FCPS will foster personal well-being and health among students and staff through increased awareness and engagement on these topics.
Maintaining an optimal level of wellness is crucial to living a higher quality of life. Wellness matters because it helps lower health care costs, create a sense of community, and a healthier work culture. Healthier employees lead to better attendance and increased productivity, lower healthcare costs, and ultimately a healthier you!
While each school may have custom tailored wellness offerings, FCPS offers school-wide events. Each school has a Wellness Champion, who organizes and communicates the FCPS Wellness efforts. Click on the Employee Wellness Calendar tab for a complete listing of upcoming events.
