The Board of Education of Frederick County is beginning the process of searching for a new superintendent and is utilizing the firm, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates to help with the process.
The Board is committed to hiring the best person to lead our school system, an individual who can lead a system committed to preparing students for success in college and career.
Throughout this process, the Board is committed to transparently sharing information about the search process and the timeline for selecting the next superintendent.
Without question, the community’s input will be valuable during this search. As one of the initial steps in the process, the Board is seeking input on the desired characteristics and skills that you would like to see in the next superintendent.

April 7-9: Board first round structured interviews
April 12-14: Board second round and final interviews
