Chief Financial Officer

Leslie Pellegrino is the Chief Financial Officer for Frederick County Public Schools. She has worked with FCPS since 2007 and previously served as the Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director of Fiscal Services. She oversees:

What she enjoys most about working in public education: She strives to maximize every dollar FCPS is given, thereby allowing for amazing opportunities for all our students.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

Background: Leslie is a Certified Public Accountant. She lives in Myersville with her husband Tony. She has four grown children and four grandchildren. Originally from Orange County Virginia, Leslie graduated from Orange County High School, to this day the only high school in the entire county. She worked for Frederick County Government for 12 years prior to joining FCPS. She is on the board of directors for the Maryland-D.C. Association of School Business Officials and a member of the ASBO and the International and Government Finance Officers Association.
