Frederick County Public Schools invites the community to attend the 39th Annual All-County Fifth Grade Honors Chorus Concert. On April 29th at 7:00 pm 130 talented fifth-grade students from elementary schools across the county will perform a vibrant and diverse repertoire at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in downtown Frederick.
Tickets are available in advance through the Weinberg Center Box Office at weinbergcenter.org or at the door on the day of the performance. Ticket prices are: $6 for adults, $3 for students, and free for FCPS staff (with ID), senior citizens, and children under school age.
Students were selected through a competitive audition process to represent their schools and have been preparing for months with their music teachers. These young performers demonstrate not only exceptional vocal talent but also the dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm that come from being part of an ensemble.
On the day prior to the concert, participants gather for a full rehearsal with guest conductor Dr. Kyle Zeuch, Co-Chair and Associate Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College and President of the American Choral Directors Association of Pennsylvania. A final rehearsal on the day of the concert ensures a polished and memorable performance.
