Blended Learning

Every Student, Every Classroom, Every DayBlended learning is one approach used within Frederick County Public Schools to provide personalized instruction for students working to meet standards.  In a blended classroom, students participate in face-to-face instruction and online learning experiences using technology, with flexibility and choice as to time, place, path and pace of learning.  All Frederick High School teachers in all subject areas are participating in professional learning to personalize instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners using blended learning within a competency-based system.

LYNX students may also engage in blended learning by participating in one of the many flexible learning options offered by the Frederick County Virtual School (FCVS).
