Friday, May 1 through Friday, May 22, 2026 is the open enrollment period during which eligible employees can change insurance coverage and enroll or re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program. The FCPS benefit year is from July 1 through June 30. Elections made in May of 2026 will become effective July 1, 2026.
NOTE: When electing your FSA amount, you will want to calculate your elected amount to be divided by the number of paychecks you will receive. The system will calculate by 24 pays, but you will divide by your pay period such as 10 month (20 pays), 11 month (22 pays) and bus drivers and assistants (19 pays).
