FCPS Launches Vision 2020 Broadcast

Frederick County Public Schools has launched a new program called Vision 2020 to air on FCPS TV, educating the community about new programs, initiatives and tools as part of the vision of departments throughout the school system. 

The first episode features the school system’s new evidence-based reading initiative. Hosting the inaugural episode is Dr. Kevin Cuppett, executive director of the FCPS Curriculum, Instruction and Innovation Department. His guests are elementary language arts curriculum specialist Jennifer Ralston, Waverley Elementary assistant principal Julie Ivins and Spring Ridge Elementary first grade teacher Tracy Spingola.

Vision 2020 airs on Comcast cable channel 18 at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
