Starting Monday, May 11, Frederick County Public Schools will add meals-to-go service at the Centerville Elementary parking lot, 3601 Carriage Hill Drive, Frederick, MD, and discontinue service at Overlook Park, 501 Coralberry Court, off Himes Avenue (across from Dutch’s Daughter Restaurant), Frederick, MD.
All 22 FCPS meal sites serve breakfast, lunch and supper meals for the week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. FCPS does not require (and has not required) children to be present for an adult to obtain meals for them.
Meal Service Schedule (11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Mondays: FCPS provides “to-go” breakfasts, lunches and suppers for Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesdays: FCPS provides “to-go” breakfasts, lunches and suppers for Wednesday and Thursday.
Fridays: FCPS provides “to-go” breakfast, lunch and supper for Friday.

“FCPS reminds the community that although we are happy to provide meals to go, there is risk in traveling to pick them up,” says Daryl Boffman, executive director of public affairs. “We recommend following social distance and mask guidelines and handling all materials with care including washing food containers and bags with soap and water to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus.”
