Frederick County Public Schools invites the community to join an important conversation on options for reopening schools for the 2020-2021 school year. All are invited to participate in a virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, July 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There are several ways to watch and participate. Tune to FCPS TV on Comcast Cable channel 18 or watch online at www.fcps.org/tv. Send questions in English or Spanish to FCPSReopens@fcps.org or, during the Town Hall, call 301-696-6966 for English or 240-236-8769 for Spanish.

FCPS has posted information and will post a survey link about reopening options at https://www.fcps.org/update/reopening next week. The school system will also gather employee feedback using a survey coming soon to the FCPS intranet and via Employee News email.

"Our FCPS community’s voice is essential as we embark on one of our most challenging decisions regarding the successful education of our students in an environment where safety is paramount. We must be in this together!" says Daryl Boffman, FCPS Executive Director of Public Affairs.
