Frederick County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Terry Alban will share her recommended Fiscal Year 2022 operating budget at 7 p.m. Monday, January 11.
The announcement will be presented via the FCPS Maryland YouTube page, via FCPS.org and via Comcast Cable Channel 18.
“This year’s recommended budget was built to move our system forward following all of the challenges we have faced during the global health crisis,” Alban said. “It is designed to enable us to recover, reconnect and reinvent.”
Due to public health protocols to combat the spread of COVID-19, the public will not be permitted to attend the presentation.
Dr. Alban’s budget release is the first step in the process of finalizing the operating budget for FY2022. The Board of Education of Frederick County is scheduled to discuss the superintendent’s recommended budget at its next meeting, which is 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 13.
