At a recent girls varsity volleyball game between Catoctin High and Frederick High, allegations were made about derogatory and insensitive language being used during the game. Following Frederick County Public Schools protocols, both schools began an immediate investigation and are working together. FCPS is committed to providing a safe and positive atmosphere, free of any type of derogatory speech, racial slurs, insensitive remarks, and inappropriate behaviors or practices that demean or marginalize others.
