The Board of Education of Frederick County announced Monday that Dr. Terry Alban, who served as Superintendent of Schools since 2011, was retiring from her position effective December 13, 2021.
Dr. Mike Markoe has been appointed by the Board of Education of Frederick County as interim superintendent for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year.
