This is an exciting time for Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) as we celebrate the Class of 2022 with in-person graduation ceremonies once again on the campus of Mount Saint Mary’s University.
FCPS graduations will be held in Emmitsburg Monday, May 23 through Friday, May 27. The full schedule is posted online: https://www.fcps.org/student-services/graduation-dates. Here, you will see the times of each graduation and other pertinent information.

“I am looking forward to congratulating students for achieving this significant milestone in their lives,” FCPS Interim Superintendent Dr. Mike Markoe said. “I know FCPS graduates will take what they have learned and apply it as they focus on future opportunities in college, in the workforce, or in military service.”
The following reminders are in effect to ensure a safe and enjoyable graduation:
- Please carpool to the Mount if possible and, regardless, allow extra time so everyone is on time for each ceremony.
- Face coverings are encouraged but not required for guests
