Frederick County Public Schools announces the following principal and assistant principal appointments for the 2022-23 school year.
Principal appointment
Urbana High, Donna Clabaugh is promoted from assistant principal at Frederick High. She will replace Dave Kehne, who is retiring from Frederick County Public Schools August 1. Clabaugh began her career with FCPS as a Business/Career and Technology teacher at Walkersville and Catoctin high schools. She served as assistant principal at Middletown, Tuscarora and Frederick high schools. She was Oakdale High’s principal from 2013-16 and has also served as the senior manager for benefits and wellness in Human Resources. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business and finance and a Master’s Degree in business administration from Mount St. Mary’s University.
Assistant principal appointments
Frederick High, Elizabeth O’Neal is promoted from Frederick High, where she served as an English Learners teacher.
Ballenger Creek Middle, Sarah Gordy is promoted from Oakdale Middle, where she served as a science teacher.
