What to Expect
This annual event will showcase student innovation, technical abilities, and creativity. FCPS is excited to invite the community for this event, which will include local food trucks, competitions, a robotics exhibition, and information about the FCPS Career & Technology Center.
Middle school students currently enrolled in CTE classes will participate, showcasing skills learned in the classroom. In preparation for the fair, students spent the month of February practicing skills and gaining understanding of the course curriculum.
In addition, classroom competition winners will have the chance to advance to school level competitions, where they will then represent their school during “Engineering Week”.
The Career and Technology Fair will not only showcase the students creative and academic abilities but also highlight the county's efforts to prepare students with career focused skills.
