After re-evaluation, Frederick County MD public schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, February 13, due to inclement weather. Offices will be opening 2-hours late.
If applicable or appropriate, staff have the option to take liberal leave or telework after discussing with their supervisor.
All FCPS and community-group afterschool and evening activities are canceled or postponed. School-based daycare programs, Community School vendors and Parks and Recreation programs in school gyms make and communicate decisions concerning their schedules.

Due to inclement weather, Frederick County MD public schools and offices are opening 2 hours late Tuesday, February 13. This decision will be reevaluated by 7 a.m. this morning. Morning PreK* and Career and Technology Center (CTC) start 2 hours late and dismiss 1 hour later than usual. PM PreK* starts 1 hour later than usual and dismisses at the regular time. PM CTC starts 40 minutes later than usual and dismisses at the regular time. All staff should report on a 2-hour delay as well.
*Except at FCPS charter schools, where pre-K classes are canceled.
