FCPS Offers a Variety of Instructional Supports for Students in the 2021-22 School Year

FCPS ofrece una Variedad de Apoyos de Instrucción para los Estudiantes en el Año Escolar 2021-22

FCPS is a continuous improvement school system. From inception, the FCPS opening plan included instructional support for students, whether the need would arise from a required quarantine or isolation, or to support a student academically as we transition into full in person instruction post pandemic.

In an effort to clearly communicate our instructional support plan for students and to provide start dates for some services not yet in place, please reference the following charts for elementary and secondary student supports. We’re excited about our multi-layer approach to ensure students get what they need.

Your child’s teacher/s and or school principal can provide more detailed information about schedules for virtual instructional support, tutoring, or our upcoming Saturday Academies for students.

The Board of Education of Frederick County approved a TutorMe vendor partnership on September 8. We will be sharing details about this new resource for secondary students and their families in the weeks ahead.

Finally, in response to parent feedback, we’re excited to support all elementary teachers with high quality instructional videos and resources to support students who may be absent and miss instruction.

See below for the layered support system in place for students in FCPS.
