Verification for Employees
Below is a chart that describes the types of verification - basic and full - that are available to FCPS employees. The second column describes what information will be provided to the verifier based upon which level is selected and the third column explains what is needed to give to the verifier for a verification of employment.
If this is your first time using The Work Number, you will have a one-time initial enrollment set-up after you enter your user ID and password. This additional level of security is being added as a step to continually improve the privacy of your information.
There is no charge to the employee for this service.

For Lenders/Verifiers
Lenders/verifiers should call 1-800-367-5690 or go to The Work Number (the Verifier section). The FCPS code is 18432. Please note that you may need a Salary Key Code which is to be set up and provided by the Employee for security purposes. FCPS does not create or provide Salary Key Codes for the Employees. The lender/verifier should contact the employee to obtain the Salary Key Code. If you are experiencing technical problems, please contact The Work Number client service center at 1-800-996-7566.
