In the 2022-2023 school year, systemic priority areas were established by the FCPS superintendent, Dr. Dyson. These priority areas—Organizational Culture of Achievement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Wellbeing, Stakeholder Engagement, and Student and Staff Experience—are aligned to the existing five FCPS Board of Education (BOE) strategic goals. Furthermore, for each of the goal areas, key performance indicators (KPIs) were established. KPIs are used to measure progress on specific outcomes over a period of time (e.g., increasing student performance on assessments). Throughout the school year, staff will collaborate on presenting data on the progress of each of these performance targets.
