COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE LAW

 

Maryland law requires that all children five (5) years or older, and under eighteen (18), who live in Maryland, attend a school or be Homeschooled. Students receiving Home Instruction (Schooling) must comply with Maryland Compulsory Attendance Law, Md. Code Ann., Educ., §7-301 and the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 13.A.10.01 regarding home instruction.
