CTE: Business, Management, and Finance

FCPS offers four business pathways: Business Administration, Business Management, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing. These programs provide opportunities to earn industry certifications, college credits, in Financial Accounting, Management, and Marketing. Embedded in these classes are A*S*K Certifications, serving as proof of learning in business, marketing, management, finance, entrepreneurship, and ethics. These certifications help students document key business skills and position themselves for future careers. Participation in FBLA is also encouraged for practical leadership experience.

Career and Technical Student Organizations


CTSOs are student-led organizations that provide opportunities for students to develop leadership, teamwork, and career-related skills. They often focus on specific career fields, such as business, technology, agriculture, or health/human services. These co-curricular student experiences are embedded within various CTE programs. CTSOs can offer a variety of activities, including competitions, conferences, community service projects, and networking events.
