Meet the Board: Jaime Brennan, Board Member

Biography

Jaime Brennan was elected to the Board of Education in December 2024 for a four-year term, December 2024-2028.

Jaime is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland where she earned a degree in business with a concentration in accounting. She passed the May 2001 CPA exam on her first attempt and spent over 20 years working in public accounting. In her time as a public accountant, she received numerous recognitions helping the under-served minority business community. She ultimately opened her own consulting company in order to more directly help clients with their financial reporting and business management needs.

She served on the boards of several organizations but her time as a Board of Trustees member of Frederick Classical Charter School was the most meaningful. It allowed her to use her business experience and combine it with her love for the Classical Education philosophy. It also helped prepare her for her role on Frederick County’s Board of Education where she hopes to bring financial transparency to the board, as well as be a voice for parental rights and support educational options because every child deserves excellence in education.

Jaime lives with her husband, two kids and their crazy rescue pup, Charlotte, in Mount Airy.
